Navigation
Use familiar functions such as "drag and drop", "list view" and "tree view" to easily organize your media collection. Navigating Disc Manager is similar to Microsoft Explorer, so there are no new complicated programs to learn.

Sign In Manager
Track access to valuable discs and controlled files easily with Disc Manager. Log in once when starting up and enter user identification and password once. Or bypass log in during start up and Disc Manager requires user id and password entry for each retrieval. An audit trail is automatically logged containing disc, action, user and date accessed. Print or export audit reports for each disc under Properties.

Loan Comment Manager
Manage loaned discs effortlessly when you utilize this advanced feature. Enter key information during disc retrieval - for example, "Loaned, Joe Smith" - then simply set the reminder (found in Show Alerts) and pick a date. You'll receive an alert and view loan comment information for each disk under Properties.

Networking Share access to your Disc Manager database to improve efficiency, especially in commercial environments like technical help desks or video rental establishments. By hosting your database in an accessible network location and enabling Sign In Manager, each licensed version will connect to one database for shared access.

Disc and File Groupers
Create unique groupers for discs and files enabling you to organize your collection multiple ways. Grouper organization offers flexibility not available with ordinary category filing. Unlike category filing, discs and files can be designated in multiple groups.

Classifying your collection by grouper is simple with Disc Manager's easy entry and drag and drop functionality. After creating groupers, simply drag and drop discs and files to multiple groupers. Find them later and double click on the file name or thumbnail image to eject the disc.

Barcode Access
Simplify the search and retrieval process even further when you assign barcodes to your disc properties.

To retrieve a disc by barcode, click the barcode icon, scan your code and click "go." If you've catalogued multiple discs with the same code, Disc Manager displays a complete list of discs. Double click on the copy you'd like to retrieve and it's automatically ejected.

Search
Locate discs and files quickly and efficiently using Disc Manager's unrivaled search functionality.

Advanced Search
Advanced Search scans your collection using advanced fields and allows you to fine-tune your search criteria. Select "Exact Match", "Begins with", etc.

Quick Search
When less detail is needed, perform a Quick Search. Select a field from the drop down box and entering keywords for your text search.

Barcode Search
When disc properties profiles are complete with barcodes, searches become even faster. Scan your barcode into the "Search for Field" area on the Quick Find toolbar. All catalogued discs matching that code will display - perfect for commercial business applications.

Music CDDB Interface
Download audio CD information including album title, artist and songs through the FreeDB.org interface.

Fast Add and Multidisc Add
Populate your Disc Manager library database quickly and easily using the Fast Add or Multidisc Add features. Using a simple grid entry system, enter Title, library and an optional description. Click okay, and discs are instantly added to your collection. Refresh your navigation tree view to see your additions, then drag and drop them into desired categories or groups.

Disc Cover/Thumbnail View
Scan photo collections for that "just right" picture when you access thumbnail view. Disc Manager also stores audio or video disc cover art.
